Self Assessments
Sigi 3 Assessment
Sigi 3 is a tool and service provided to students at Ball State University. It helps students discover their inner strengths, skills, personality traits, values, and general interests. After taking the assessments participants are provided with useful information on careers that might be applicable to their personality type and interests. My Sigi results were as follows after taking the “FastStart” evaluation:
This chart represents the values that scored highest during my assessment: leisure, independence, and high income.
This chart represents the values that scored highest during my assessment: leisure, independence, and high income.
Business ranked the highest for me on this next list regarding where my interests are focused.
The chart below is an overall representation of my personal analysis from Sigi3. I really agreed with these results, and I was decently pleased that they matched up with some of the other tests I had taken thus far. I am interested in business careers in a decently wide range of career fields from Telecommunications to Geography: Travel and Tourism. I certainly do value leisure and independence as two values I would love to possess eventually with a career. I applied for, interviewed, and landed a job at Yellowstone National Park after graduation in May and I am genuinely looking forward to working in the park/hospitality field. I will be working as a Guest Service Agent and dealing with people one-on-one, working with a new computer system, organizing information, working with math, and dealing with special activities- all of which are listed under my skillset in the chart above. I am fairly confident that Sigi3 was an accurate portrayal of who I am as a person and what truly interests me.
